Spanish Class? Es la máxima. Me encanta

¿La clase de español? Es la máxima. Me encanta.

La clase de español is working as the subject for these sentences. Es is “is” and is the first verb. la máxima is a superlative working as an adjective to add more information. What is the class like? It is “the best.” Me is an indirect object pronoun, meaning “to me.” Something is happening “to me.” encanta means “is enchanting.” Something is enchanting to me. What is that something? The class of Spanish.

“I love it” is not a literal translation of “me encanta.” Encanta does not reflect “I” in anyway, and there is no “yo” in the sentence.
