Sp 11 Daily 10 Sentences

Every day, you get to write 10 sentences of your own. Not copies of your classmates. Not sentences done by Google. 10 of your own.

But I’ll provide the parameters. For example:

  1. On the ORANGE paper, write 10 sentences using vocabulary from our current lists and the Preterite–and use only the Preterite verbs listed on the first page of the Quiz of Death packet or the verbs from the vocabulary lists we’re studying.
  2. On the WHITE paper, write 10 sentences using vocabulary from our current lists and the Preterite. Use the verbs from the chapter and/or page 1 and 2 from the QOD packet.
  3. Look at your mistakes from Day 1. On the back side of the ORANGE paper, write DAY 3, and then write 10 sentences using PT from the QOD and/or verbs and vocabulary from our lists. Try to not make the same mistakes you made on the first side of the page. Any questions? Ask.
  4. Look at your mistakes from Day 2. On the back side of the WHITE paper, write DAY 4 and then write 10 sentences using the PT from the QOD and/or verbs and vocabulary from our lists.
  5. Day 5: Take the 10 sentence quiz.
  6. Day 6: It’s a new set of vocabulary. Write sentences with the PT. Try a few with the IMP, but label WHY you think they should be IMP. Use S.H.E.D.S.
  7. Day 7: Write 5 sentences using reflexives and PT. Write 5 sentences using either “IMP CUANDO PT” OR “MIENTRAS IMP, PT”.
  8. Day 8: Write 5 sentences using PT and Reflexives. Write 5 with “IMP CUANDO PT” OR “MIENTRAS IMP, PT”.
  9. Day 9: Write 5 with “IMP CUANDO PT” OR “MIENTRAS IMP, PT”.
  10. Day 10: Take the 10 sentence quiz.
  11. Day 11: Write 5 sentences that all start “Wilson me dijo,–” and then fill in what Wilson told you. Then write 5 sentences for your project using PT and IMP.
  12. Day 12: Write 5 sentences that have the idea that someone said something to you. Mix it up. Not always Wilson. Use the police, relatives, etc. ALSO, write 5 sentences that have the IMPERFECT. Label them with SHEDS and circle which one you are using in each sentence.
  13. Day 13: Look at your mistakes from day 11. Then write 5 sentences with the “someone told someone else plus quote” structure. Be sure you’re using PT. Make your other 5 sentences using the IMP with the SHEDS labels. Include some REFLEXIVES.
  14. Day 14: Look at your mistakes from day 12. Then write 5 IMP sentences with the SHEDS labels and 5 iDOP or DOP sentences (actions NOT done to oneself).
